Adapting systems to use artificial intelligence needs to be done in a way that empowers people and address urgent societal challenges. These systems can contribute to important transitions, such as in energy, mobility, education, and sustainability. Human centered AI systems are designed to foster physical and psychological wellbeing of individuals and communities, and to support a fair and just society. For many years, researchers at TU Delft have been developing the scientific, technological, and methodological capabilities that are needed to realise the vision of truly human centered AI systems. Through a comprehensive design and engineering approach, we research how humans can interact with AI systems, how they can better understand each other's behavior, and how we can collaborate with them. 👉 Interested?
