TU Delft's MSc Applied Physics programme overzicht
The MSc Applied Physics at TU Delft explores everything from nanoscale phenomena to large scale processes in industry, energy, climate and healthcare. In this programme, you will learn to translate the fundamental principles of physics into real world solutions that benefit society. Accredited by the NVAO and taught fully in English, this two year programme prepares you to stay at the forefront of scientific understanding while developing practical applications. You will deepen your expertise through one of four tracks: Physics for Energy and Climate, Physics for Health and Life, Physics for Instrumentation, or Physics for Quantum Devices and Quantum Computing. The curriculum combines essential physics courses, departmental specializations and a wide range of electives. You will also join a research group of your choice, gaining hands on experience in experimental techniques, theoretical analysis, simulation and modelling, all supported by TU Delft’s state of the art research facilities and international collaborations. Throughout the programme, you’ll work on research projects with fellow students, industry partners and scientific institutes, culminating in your Master’s thesis. This combination of fundamental insight, practical training and global context equips you to communicate your findings effectively and to contribute to cutting edge developments in applied physics.
