Naturalis Newsroom #9: Ancient Teeth

Naturalis Biodiversity Center is not only a research institute and a museum: we also have a natural history collection of over 42 million specimens! This collection consist of collections. One of them is the Eugene Dubois Collection, a 19th century biologist and adventurer who travelled to South East Asia to find the missing link between Homo sapiens and apes. Everything he discovered, over 10,000 objects, is now stored in the Naturalis' collection tower. One of these objects is now the subject of an exciting new Nature publication! Want to read more?
